Is it possible to connect sensors directly to the CMC processing unit?
The CMC-TC is a modular designed system that can be configured individually.
Depending on the requirement one of the three sensor units is always needed in addition to the PU. Only to this is it possible to connect the sensors or actuators. If enclosure door locking is required, an Access Unit is always necessary!
How can existing company card readers be integrated in the Rittal CMC-TC system?
External card readers (third party) can only be integrated by evaluation of a potential-free release contact in connection with a digital input module 7320.580 to a sensor unit. Acquisition of identification data is not possible.
How is it possible to receive CMC-TC alarm messages as e-mail or SMS?
e-mail
The CMC-TC manager (free download) can be installed so that alarm messages can be sent to an e-mail addressee. In a selection window is defined which messages will be sent in case of event. As an alternative an individually designed BAT / EXE file can be started instead of an e-mail.
SMS
The GSM module 7320.820 offers an independent transmission path between CMC-TC and SMS receiver. Up to 4 mobile phone numbers can be dialled, individually allocated to the various events.
Alternative: The CMC-TC manager can send messages to a service provider who sends it as SMS to a stored mobile phone number.
Software version 1.1 for CMC-TC I/O unit
Exchange for software V1.2!
In contrast to software version 1.0 software version 1.2 offers the additional possibility to connect the voltage monitor DK 7320.610 and the fan alarm unit DK 7320.811.
When using several humidity sensors DK 7320.510 too small values were recorded relating to the connection. This effect does not occur with software 1.2.
The software can only be exchanged by changing the programmed processor.
Preferably the unit will be exchanged completely. Rittal Sales are able to carry out the exchange.
When do I need software version 1.11 for the CMC-TC processor unit?
In contrast to software version 1.0 software version 1.11 offers the additional possibility to connect display unit DK 7320.490, GSM unit DK 7320.820 as well as the
processing of IOU with software version 1.2 and AU with software version 1.1.
When do I need software version 1.2 for CMC-TC access unit?
In contrast to software version 1.0 software version 1.2 offers the additional possibility to connect the handle system for universal installation DK 7320.950 and handle system for TS 8 doors DK 7320.962. Further systems with pulse contact control have been integrated.
The software can only be exchanged by changing the programmed processor.
Preferably the unit shall be exchanged completely. Rittal Sales are able to carry out the exchange.
